Hillingdon film lovers will soon be able to enjoy an evening of movie classics filled with music from some famous and well-loved film scores.
The Hillingdon Philharmonic Orchestra will be playing songs from films such as Gone with the Wind and Indiana Jones at the Movie Classics concert on Saturday 11th March.
Currently proceeding through its 31st Season, the orchestra is well established in the local area with more than 60 registered members and having performed an incredibly wide and varied repertoire of works over the years.
In addition to countless concerts at local venues throughout Hillingdon, the group has also performed at some of London’s most prestigious venues including the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Southwark Cathedral.
In July 2011 the group celebrated 25 years of music making at the Cadogan Hall in Sloane Square.
The concert will be led by Mackenzie Richards and conducted by the founder of the orchestra — Peter J. Williams.
It will take place at Winston Churchill Theatre, Manor Farm, Pinn Way, Ruislip, HA4 7QL.
