COMEDIAN Jason Manford is bringing his First World Problems tour to The Beck Theatre, Grange Road, Hayes, on February 27 and 28.
The nationwide tour will allow Jason to return to his stand-up roots. He is perhaps better-known now for shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, QI and Big Fat Quiz of the Year, as well as appearing at the Royal Variety Show and, most recently, in the West End production of Sweeney Todd.
Jason said: ‘I’m excited to be getting back to what I really love the most – stand-up!’ Asked about what his First World Problems set includes, he replied: "Essentially, moaning about everyday life, but with punchlines.
"I’d seen the phrase online and liked it. It's as if we invent problems, so we have something to moan about. I imagine someone in the Third World just thinking we were all complete idiots!"
Jason’s straight-talking Northern style and quick-wit should ensure that tickets go fast.
If you want to be in the audience, call the box office on 020 8561 8371 or visit the Beck Theatre website.
