CUSTOMERS of Ruislip Manor Pharmacy, Victoria Road, will soon be able to make use of an innovative new service.
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) will allow patients to order repeat medication at the pharmacy, instead of travelling to their GP surgery to collect paper prescriptions.
Medication can then be picked up at a pharmacy that suits, for example near home or work.
Over the next month, the free service will be rolled out across a number of GP practices, including Wood Lane Medical Centre, Ruislip, Southcote Surgery, Southcote Rise, Oxford Drive Medical Centre, St Martin’s Medical Centre, Eastcote Road, King Edward’s Medical Centre, Eastcote Health Centre, Abbotsbury Gardens practices and Cedars Medical Centre, Elliot Avenue.
Patients wishing to use the EPS should talk to the Ruislip Manor pharmacist or ask their GP to nominate the pharmacy they wish to use.
