CAMPAIGNERS have spoken defiantly outside the High Court as an injunction hearing gets underway.
The injunction - applied for by Heathrow Airport owners BAA - intends to ban certain environmental groups from attending Climate Camp, a protest against climate change.
Leo Murray, from the action group Plane Stupid said: "BAA claims this is all about providing security but we are all peaceful protestors.
"The truth is it's about protecting their plans for the future and the growth of the business which cannot be allowed to succeed in the interests of protecting us from climate change."
One of the groups named in the injunction is Hacan, the Heathrow anti-noise and anti-expansion organisation.
Chairman John Stewart said: "BAA have scored a massive own goal. I think it will be a huge surprise if this injunction was to be granted."
BAA said it has applied for the injunction to protect the operation of the airport and the safety of passengers and staff.
