AN Uxbridge engineer, Tyrone Tash, owner of 24-7 TT Plumbing & Heating, was awarded the title of Master Plumber by the Lord Mayor of London at a ceremony at the Glaziers’ Hall.

The title is given to those who have reached a level of excellence in their profession that could rightly be described as mastery of the art, craft, science and practice of plumbing.

Tyrone said: “It’s been a really long journey. You don’t realise how far you have come and what you have achieved until you get to the end.”

Kevin Wellman, CEO of the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering, added: “To achieve Master Plumber status marks the pinnacle of Tyrone’s career.”
