BUDDING DJs will be showing off their new-found mixing skills and making crowds dance at this month's Streets Ahead event in Brunel ward on Thursday, August 23.
The day will include entertainment for the whole family including a bouncy castle, 24ft climbing wall, DJ tent, workshops and fire brigade demonstrations as well as information and advice stalls.
Councillor Sandra Jenkins, Hillingdon Council's cabinet member for environment, said: "I would like to encourage everyone to come along to this event. With it being the summer holidays, there will plenty to do, promising a fun-filled day for all."
The council-led Streets Ahead programme focuses on engagement, education, enforcement and takes place in a different ward on the fourth Thursday each month.
Some of the local partners include the Metropolitan Police, Safer Neighbourhood Teams, London Fire Brigade, Hillingdon Homes, Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), Vehicle and Operator Services Agency VOSA, Probation Service and the Department of Work and Pensions.
