PUPILS across Hillingdon received their A-level results this morning after weeks of waiting to find out what the future holds for them.
One pupil at Uxbridge College, Farhio Mohamed Ali, got the grades she needed to go onto Manchester University to study Neuroscience and Cognitive Psychology.
The 18-year-old of Cheyney Path, Hanwell, said: "I have had lots of help from my teachers at the college and I am very happy with my results."
Fario opened her envelope to find she had got an A level grade A in Chemistry and two B's in Biology and Maths and an AS level grade A in Psychology.
David Lewis, deputy head of Douay Martyrs School, Ickenham, said: "Generally the early indications are that student successes this year are in line with last year.
"There are a few students that have done really well. Samantha Borland, who got two A's and two B's, Daniel Judge, who got three A's and is off to Manchester University to study Philosophy, and Francis Williams, who also got three A's and is going to study Accounting and Finance at Sheffield University.
"But overall, I would like to congratulate all the students and wish them all the best for the future."
Francis who achieved his grades in Media, Business and Politics, said; "Everyone at the school has always been helpful throughout my time here.
"My teachers have supported me along the way and I am really looking forward to going to University."
