CLIMATE camp protesters have tried to stop BAA staff entering the company's corporate headquarters this morning (Monday).
Earlier, around 20 workers entered the besieged building via a side entrance, behind police lines, with little opposition from campaigners.
But at around 9am, one member of staff went to enter the facility through the main entrance, prompting around 60 protesters to surge forward in an attempt to prevent him getting in.
Police formed a protective line between campaigners and the BAA employee, allowing him to get into the building.
The offices, in Mondial Way, off Bath Road, near Heathrow airport have been blockaded since yesterday afternoon by hundreds of protesters, many of whom camped out overnight in the pouring rain.
BAA released a statement earlier saying they had told staff not to turn up at the Mondial Way facility.
