THE mother of a missing teenager from Hayes has launced a fresh appeal for her daughter to come home.
Astra Dixon, 14, of Gainsborough Road, was last seen with a friend on Friday, May 25, nearly 100 days ago, and there have been only a few sightings of her since.
Her mother, Denise Palmer, 41, said she has done everything she can possibly think of and just wants Astra to come home.
She said: "Every day I feel that she's going to come walking through the door but all I seem to be doing is waiting. I have put posters up everywhere in Hayes and I went to Ealing and Feltham last week to distribute them there.
"I had a call from someone in Feltham who said they thought they had seen her but there is no way of tracking down where she actually is."
The police have been working closely with Denise and charitable organisation Missing Persons is due to put out a TV appeal in the near future.
Denise said: "Astra needs to know that her auntie, Ina Hamilton, has passed away and I just hope that when she reads this she will come home, or if anyone knows where she is, they will tell her."
Astra is about 5ft 9 inches, with long dark hair. She has piercings in her tongue and belly button and was wearing a black skirt and a cream sleeveless blouse when she went missing.
Anyone with information about Astra should telephone the missing persons helpline on 020 8246 1708.
