A MAN who sexually assualted a teenage girl has been jailed eight years after he committed the offence.
On January 10, 1999, Tajinder Singh Sidhu, 29, of Berkshire, viciously assaulted the girl an alleyway near Dawley Road in Hayes
. He struck her on her head and forced her to the floor, before indecently assaulting her.
In 2006 police officers from the sapphire unit at West Drayton police station identified Sidhu and he was arrested and charged.
Sidhu appeared at Isleworth Crown Court on Monday, August 30, he was found guilty of sexual assault, jailed for three years and put on the sex offender's register for life.
