A WEEK of activities for London Week of Peace starts in Uxbridge on September 10.
The event called 'Peace Matters' will feature a market place outside the Civic Centre from 3pm and then a procession at 4.45pm from Uxbridge Police station, through Uxbridge town centre to the Civic Centre.
Community leaders, including the Mayor of Hillingdon Councillor Catherine Dann, Borough Commander Carl Bussy and acting chief executive of Hillingdon Council Hugh Dunnachie and Duncan Struthers, chair of the Hillingdon Interfaith Network, will be supporting the event and will be giving speeches and a shared message of peace for Hillingdon.
