A BLAZE that ripped through a house in Hillingdon early this morning (Tuesday, September 4), left a woman in hospital suffering from burns.
At around 2am the fire, which is thought to have started in the kitchen, severely damaged the property in Midhurst Gardens.
An ambulance was called to the scene to treat the 60-year-old resident for smoke inhalation and minor burns to her arms before she was taken to Hillingdon Hospital.
Fire crews reported there was no working smoke alarm in the property and that two women and a man left the building before they arrived.
The fire's cause is currently unknown.
