A NEW football complex in Hayes was officially opened last night by comedy actor Ralph Little.
Goals Soccer Centre in Minet Country Park, Springfield Road has nine five-a-side and two seven-a-side floodlit pitches and also boasts a gym.
The facilities will be available for free to schools, social groups, and also for youth activities during the summer holidays.
Councillor Henry Higgins, cabinet member for culture, sport and leisure, at Hillingdon Council was also at the opening on Monday, September 3.
He said: "We are so pleased to have worked with Goals to bring a great leisure facility to Hayes.
"Residents can get great use out of the facility and in particular the health and fitness suite made available by Hillingdon."
Mr Little is famous for appearing on TV in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, and The Royle Family.
