A HILLINGDON Times reader shot footage of a march by angry residents protesting at the replacement of family homes with flats in Ruislip.
On Saturday, September 2, more than 100 people bearing placards marched down High Street to raise awareness of the issue.
Donald Edwards, 72, of Stowe Crescent, was there to capture the event on camera.
He said: "Everyone is really angry about what is going on around us. Everywhere you look all you can see is flats.
"People's homes are being taken down and flats, which are an eyesore, are being built instead."
Crowds of people were carrying placards in a bid to raise awareness of the problems associated with development in Ruislip.
