THE Crown and Treaty in Uxbridge has been taken over by the Old Spot Pub Company.
The pub, famed for bearing witness to a failed treaty between Oliver Cromwell and King Charles 1 in 1645, officially reopened this week after restoration.
Dave Ford, director of Old Spot, said: “It’s a pub with an incredibly rich heritage that has served the immediate community for centuries.”
