SUPPORTERS of Dogs Trust West London, based in Harvil Road, Harefield, have been assured all the animals are safe and have everything they need during the lockdown.
Rehoming centre manager Richard Moore says they are looking after 81 dogs, who are in good care as they wait for a new home, though the wait is going to be longer than usual.
More than £13m has been awarded to Dogs Trust since its partnership with People’s Postcode Lottery first began in 2013.
It has been able to invest in additional highly-skilled staff such as behaviourists, canine carers and veterinary staff, expand initiatives such as Home from Home fostering and improve its rehoming centres
“Although we don’t know the financial implications of Coronavirus on Dogs Trust as it is an evolving situation, we are certain the coming months are likely to see an increased demand for our services,” said Mr Moore.
“That’s why we want to take this opportunity to thank dog lovers for their vital continued support.”
