The Met Police have released an image of man they would like to speak to in connection with a serious assault in Uxbridge last year.
On Friday 14 August 2020, between 9:50pm and 10:17pm, a 40-year-old man was found with severe injuries at Jessop Court on Brindley Place.
Prior to the incident, at approximately 5pm, the victim visited a shop in the vicinity to purchase alcohol.
En route home, he was followed through an underpass by a group of four unknown people, three males and one female.
The victim remembers engaging with the group however, his next memory relates to waking up in hospital.
PC Oliver Grant, from the West Area BCU, said: “The victim was beaten and sustained serious injuries consistent with a violent assault. This whole incident has been a frightening experience for the man, who was lucky not to have been more seriously injured.
“We have carried out a number of enquiries to track down those responsible and we are now asking for the public's help. The man we wish to identify is of large build, approximately in his 30s, wearing a black tracksuit top, trousers and a grey baseball cap.”
