STUDENTS and staff at an Uxbridge school provided an evening of festive entertainment for parents and siblings.
Pupils from different year groups across Park Academy worked with teachers to put on the school’s first-ever Christmas Showcase.
Singers, musicians, dancers, poets and drama stars entertained for 90 minutes at the Park View Road school.
Teacher Chanelle Simon, a Year 9 leader and Co-ordinator of Expressive Arts, oversaw the project.
She said: "The Student Voice committee voted for a showcase and we thought Christmas would be a good time to do it.
“They wanted to do something that would involve all year groups and give them a chance to show off their abilities.”
Around 180 tickets were sold for the show and more than £300 was raised for the school.
Danny Gardner, Deputy Coordinator of Art and Design, was crowned overall winner for his guitar skills and singing.
