WITH four weeks until the Hillingdon Council elections, due to take place on May 5, Hillingdon Labour has published its list of candidates.
A familiar name on the ballot paper is Janet Gardner, who will become the longest-serving Labour councillor in Hillingdon if she wins.
Labour will be saying goodbye to current sitting councillors who are not re-standing, including Lynne Allen, who currently represents Townfield ward, which is being abolished.
Labour group leader Cllr Peter Curling said: "We have a fantastic set of candidates standing for us. They are already out working their wards, talking to residents and explaining what a Labour council would do if we are elected to serve."
