HILLINGDON was ranked top borough in London for offering children their parents’ first preference in today’s (19) Primary National Offer Day.
A total of 94% children were offered their first preference, 99.1% were offered a place from their top three and 99.5% were offered a place at one of their top six preferences.
The London average was 87.9% for first preferences, 96.7% for top three and 98.04% for top six.
This year, Hillingdon processed 3,603 primary school applications.
Daniel Kennedy, Corporate Director of Central Services, said: “The borough has many good and outstanding rated primary schools and I’m confident every child will receive a positive learning experience in Hillingdon.”
