FOUR fire engines and around 25 crew were called to a blaze at a barn in Hill End Road, Harefield, in the early hours of this morning (11).
The single-storey building in a large field was destroyed. A tractor was used to turn over and damp down hot spots. There were no reports of injuries.
The brigade was called at 2.02am and the fire was under control by 4.49. Crews from Ruislip, Hillingdon, Harrow, Stanmore and Hertfordshire attended.
The cause is being investigated.
