MORE than 200 students from across Hillingdon celebrated 25 years of Stagecoach Performing Arts Uxbridge with a Silver Showcase at the Beck Theatre, Hayes, at the weekend.
The performance featured 800 hand-made costumes created by parents.
Uxbridge MP Boris Johnson thanked principal Rebecca Odedra for her contribution to the performing arts and her work with children.
She said “Our school is a family, working together, having fun and supporting each other. It has been a large and challenging undertaking, but a fantastic journey.”
Stagecoach Performing Arts has reported a seven per cent rise in student enrolments since 2020.
Uxbridge is part of a network of more than 2,000 performing arts schools worldwide.
Early Stages classes are available for children aged four to six and main stages classes for those aged 6-18 every weekend during term time.
