Get ready to dip: there is a range of children's activities
COLNE Valley Park’s Festival Fortnight begins this Sunday (24) and runs until August 6, with a programme of events and activities for families.
The park is linking with volunteer groups and charities to offer guided walks, events for children, open days at Iver Environment Centre, Hillingdon Narrowboats and Harmondsworth Great Barn and Save Our Rivers eco fun days in Denham Country Park.
There are 10 different guided walks that visit Harmondsworth, Rickmansworth, Staines and Harefield in the company of an expert guide.
Children’s activities include nature art and craft, mini beast hunts, outdoor theatre and boat trips.
