A HILLINGDON man was convicted for his part in a fatal stabbing in Kingston town centre.
Kai Davis died after being knifed in the chest in August last year.
Joseph Barker, 23, of Clifton Gardens, Hillingdon, was found guilty of manslaughter, while Ben Myles, 24, of West Kensington, was convicted of murder.
The verdicts follow a trial at Kingston Crown Court today (14). A third man, aged 18, was acquitted.
On the night of the murder, 22-year-old Kai had been in Epsom with a friend. On their way home they decided to drive via Kingston.
They spent some time getting food and chatting to people as they left the nearby Pryzm nightclub.
Barker and Myles left the club at around 3.15am and spotted Kai and his friend. Barker made a plan to attack him.
Medics from the nightclub and police called to the scene tended to the victim but could not save him.
The suspects were identified from CCTV footage and the missing weapon located. Officers used a magnet to retrieve it from a drain, where Myles had dumped it.
