THE Woodman pub in Breakspear Road, Ruislip, has won two awards at The Stars of Stonegate Pub Partners Awards.
It is the London and South East Pub of the Year and the Stonegate Pub Partners Pub of the Year.
Run by Steve Banks, it prides itself on having a warm, friendly environment.
Steve and his staff are involved in the community, helping charities and causes. Indeed, they and a couple of regulars have created their own pub rock band.
Steve said: “Our customers are huge supporters of the pub, and I would like to say thank you to everyone who visits us. We would not be able to do what we do without you.”
The awards, across 10 categories, recognise talent in Stonegate’s leased and tenanted chain.
