A MURDER inquiry has been launched following the death of a man in Lansbury Drive, Hayes.
Police and ambulance staff were called just before midnight yesterday (2) to reports of a man assaulted at an adult care centre.
Despite their best efforts, the man, aged 60, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 44-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
Both he and the victim were residents at the centre.
