THE year started with a bang for a lucky bingo player from Uxbridge after she won an online jackpot of more than £38,000 at Meccabingo.com. She had staked £2.
She was in shock when she discovered she had won and burst into tears when she saw the full amount in her online balance.
“I rang my partner and he started screaming down the phone with excitement,” she added.
The winner, who has not been named, plans to surprise her family by booking a dream holiday to Disneyland.
