DOGS Trust Harefield is hoping to find special Valentine’s Day matches for loveable but overlooked residents.
It is calling on dog lovers to open their homes and their hearts in time for Valentine’s Day.
Staff at the rehoming centre in Harvil Road ensure their canine lodgers are happy and well-loved while they wait on potential new owners.
As Valentine’s Day approaches next Tuesday, the team hope the loveable residents can find their perfect match.
Richard Moore, Rehoming Centre Manager, said: “We have two big-hearted residents who are hugely adorable and would love to find their forever homes this February.”
Nigel is an energetic, four-year-old, Patterdale Terrier. He loves the company of people and his favourite things to do are playing with his toys and exploring.
He is not a fan of other dogs and would benefit from living somewhere he could explore without meeting fellow canines on walks.
He is suitable for outdoor living or a working home, and could live with children over the age of 13.
Duke is a four-year-old greyhound, who, typical of his breed, loves spending time with people, going on new walks, exploring and running around.
He needs to wear a muzzle when out on walks due to his high prey drive, and this is something he has been positively trained to wear.
