A HILLINGDON charity that works with bereaved children is among five community groups in London trying to secure up to £70,000 of National Lottery funding.
HALO Children’s Foundation needs supporters to vote for its HALO Play Café in this year’s People’s Projects.
Back after a three-year break, The National Lottery Community Fund is pairing with ITV, who will showcase the work of all five groups before a public vote.
HALO Play Café will provide a safe space for children to access bereavement support. They will attend a weekly support group to make friends and build confidence as they rebuild their lives after loss.
The three projects with the most public votes will receive grants of up to £70,000. The runners-up will be offered up to £10,000.
Voting opens at 9am on Monday (15) and closes at noon on Friday, May 26. People can vote only once and will need an email address or mobile number to vote*. Visit www.thepeoplesprojects.org.uk
