DETECTIVES leading a murder investigation in Hayes have named the victim and made two arrests.
Police were alerted at 6.51pm last Thursday (18) after a man was found injured in Reynolds Road, off Willow Tree Lane.
The 30-year-old had stab injuries and later died at the scene. He has now been identified as Sean O’Neill, of Hayes.
In a statement, his family said: “We are completely heartbroken by the loss of our beautiful son and brother, Sean.
"It is especially difficult given the violent and cruel way it has happened. He was incredibly loved and we have been overwhelmed by all of the kind words shared about him from those who knew him.”
Detectives believe the attack is linked to earlier reports of disorder involving two groups of men in and around the Yeading Lane and Willow Tree Lane area.
Det Insp Kevin Martin said: “Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder in West Drayton following the execution of a warrant by detectives, supported by the TSG.
"Additionally, alongside local officers, a further two warrants were executed in the vicinity of the attack on Monday (22) as part of inquiries.
“Police are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed this disorder in the area or the attack on the victim on Thursday, particularly between 6.30 and 7.30pm."
