STAFF and residents at Cedar House Care Home in Harefield High Street were visited by the Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr Shehryar Ahmad-Wallana, and people from the community.
It was to mark this year’s national Care Home Open Week, which had the theme of Celebrating Together.
Some residents chatted to the mayor about life in the HC-One owned home as the visitors enjoyed a barbecue and live music from Anna Nightingale.
Patience Sibanda, the home’s manager, said the occasion reminded the Harefield community that its care teams were always ready to support families.
