CHARITIES in Hillingdon and Ealing are celebrating after receiving donations of £1,000.
For the fifth year running, Benefact financial services group is giving away more than £1m to through its Movement for Good Awards.
People were invited to nominate causes close to their hearts, with 150 awards of £1,000 announced today (21).
Hillingdon Autistic Care and Support, which helps autistic people achieve their full potential, and Raghuvanshi Mahajan London “Rama”, which promotes appreciation of Hindu culture, are among those to benefit.
Mark Hews, Group Chief Executive of Benefact, said: “We know that £1,000 can make a huge difference to the incredible work charities do and we’re looking forward to seeing how this financial boost will change lives for the better.”
