A REFITTED family hub in Hayes was formally opened on Wednesday (6), offering a range of family services under one roof.
The former ASHA Day Care Centre, off Coldharbour Lane, has been transformed into a multi-purpose space incorporating services for children up to 19 (up to 25 for those with special educational needs).
Hayes Family Hub is the second of its kind in the borough, with the flagship Uxbridge hub opening in December 2021.
From January, parents and carers in Hayes will be able to access support for children of all ages in one place, including breast-feeding support for babies, play groups for children and mentoring for teenagers.
The hub was officially opened by Hillingdon Council’s deputy leader, Cllr Jonathan Bianco, and Cllr Susan O'Brien, Cabinet Member for Children, Families and Education, and will be fully open to the public in the new year.
