A RANGE of courses on childcare and early years learning is being offered by the Learn Hillingdon adult education service.
The council-run service offers hundreds of courses each year to help people aged 19 and above prepare for work, gain a qualification and learn new skills.
There are a variety of early years and childcare classes to support people new to the profession, as well as those with some experience.
Courses are designed to help people access full-time, part-time or more ad hoc work, that is often suited to people with young families.
Oana-Maria Vasile has been studying with Learn Hillingdon for four years. She completed Supporting Teaching and Learning, Levels Two and Three, progressing to a Teaching Assistant Level 4 course.
She works as an Advanced Practitioner in schools and colleges and aims to take on more responsibilities to support teaching staff.
She said: “Learning is a lifelong adventure that shapes who we are and who we can become. It requires dedication, perseverance and, at times, the willingness to step out of our comfort zone.
“There are times when challenges may seem overwhelming, but I believe that it is in these moments that we truly discover our resilience and strength.”
