DUKE, a five-year-old greyhound at Dogs Trust West London, is looking for a forever home – having spent 1,011 days in the charity’s care.
Duke arrived at the Harefield centre in April 2021 as an ex-racing dog.
He loves spending time with humans, going on walks and exploring.
Having discovered soft toys, Duke also LOVES playing. He will run around, throwing them in the air to catch, and it will bring a smile to your face.
Richard Moore, centre manager at Harefield, said: “’Dashing’ Duke is a wonderful greyhound who hasn’t had any luck in finding his forever home – and we can’t figure out why!
“He is a firm favourite here and adores going out on his walks with carers and volunteer walkers.”
Duke is looking for owners who will take the time to build a bond with him and give him the attention he craves. They should also understand when to give him space.
Though he would like to be the only dog in the home, he does enjoy calm walking friends of similar size.
