YOU can enjoy a hands-on experience learning about aquatic life and how to protect it at the Riverfly Survey Taster event in Denham Country Park.
You can immerse yourself in nature next Wednesday (April 17), 1-3pm, as you explore the wonders of riverflies (invertebrates that live in the river) and their importance in monitoring water quality.
Those taking part will learn how to conduct a Riverfly Survey and contribute to vital environmental research.
Children must be over 12 and accompanied by a parent or guardian. Bring wellies and a pen and paper to make notes.
Parking is available at the Colne Valley Visitor Centre. Or you can get buses to Springbridge Nurseries or a train to Denham.
To attend, sign up here on eventbrite, or email Rivers.Team@groundwork.org.uk
