A TEENAGER has appeared in court today (27) charged with the murder of 16-year-old Kamari Johnson in Hayes.
The 17-year-old youth appeared in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court, charged with murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He was remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.
He was arrested on Saturday, by detectives investigating Kamari’s murder.
They continue to ask for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward about an altercation in the vicinity of Bourne Avenue and Nine Acre Close at around 1.30pm on Friday.
People in the area will continue to see an increased police presence.
