GLOBAL Lullabies, a project that empowers primary school children from migrant and refugee backgrounds to celebrate their cultural heritage through music and storytelling, is to feature in Hillingdon.
The initiative, part of Refugee Week 2024, is led by Mariela Cingo and Tomorr Kokona from Stage Talent.
It is working in partnership with Uxbridge and Ruislip Manor libraries, the Compass Theatre, St Catherine's RC and Sacred Heart RC primary schools.
June 20 (World Refugee Day) 1-2pm, St Catherine Catholic Primary School public performance and exhibition Uxbridge Library
June 21 (by appointment only) 1-2pm, St Catherine and Sacred Heart Catholic Primary performance, Compass Theatre, Glebe Avenue, Ickenham
June 28 1-2pm, Sacred Heart Catholic Primary public performance and exhibition Ruislip Manor Library, Linden Avenue.
