HILLINGDON won the trophy for the Most Improved Borough at this year’s London Youth Games.
In an Olympic and Paralympic year, the LYG Finals Festival at the Olympic Park was the culmination of more than 50 qualifying events in more than 30 sports.
The main award, the Jubilee Trophy, was won by Bromley, ahead of Haringey and Hackney.
Wandsworth won the ParaGames Trophy, showcasing inclusivity in sports.
The festival site, at the Copper Box Arena, highlighted the diverse and inclusive spirit of the 33 London boroughs, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the 2012 Games.
Team GB Olympian Alice Dearing said: “It was really nice to see the participants, to cheer them on and to see so many exciting and budding swimmers.”
