WITH A-level students set to receive their results next week, ACS International Schools is celebrating its own results for those taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP).
ACS International School Hillingdon had 28% of its students achieving 38 or more points in the DP, with the highest score an impressive 45 out of 45 points, equivalent to 5 A*s at A-level.
The school also attained a 100% pass rate, which surpasses the global pass rate of 80%.
Advanced Placement courses are offered as a post-16 option at Hillingdon.
More than 90% of AP students achieved a score of three or higher at the international school group, which also includes Cobham and Egham.
The AP is recognised as a post-16 qualification by universities in the UK and around the world —demonstrated by Hillingdon graduate Kamil, who accepted an offer to study at the University of Tokyo.
He said: “The skills I have developed will prove critical in an increasingly connected, globalised world.”
Six students this year will also soon receive their final results for the IB Career Related Programme in creative industries at ACS Hillingdon.
Martin Hall, head of school at ACS Hillingdon, said: “Our graduates leave as confident, caring, effective citizens who are ready for the future.”
