UTC Heathrow’s Year 13 students are celebrating after picking up their A-level and Level 3 qualification results, securing them places on degree apprenticeships and university places.
The University Technical College (UTC), based at Northwood, which recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary, is a STEM-focused school and sixth form specialising in engineering and digital.
Several students have landed apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships at firms including BAE Systems, Cyrus One and AWE.
Students have also gained places at Queen Mary’s University, Portsmouth, Royal Holloway, Nottingham, Aston, Surrey University and City.
Headteacher Jas Kallah said: “The students should feel proud of the work they have put in and these results will help them move on to their desired destinations.”
Notable achievements include:
- Ibrahim Arain - D*D*D* L3 Engineering, going on to Queen Mary’s to Study Mechanical Engineering
- Amarpreet Lalli - D*DD L3 Engineering going on to Queen Mary’s to study Mechanical Engineering
- Max Kotlarz – A - Maths A Level, B - Computer Science A Level; C - Physics A-level going on to Royal Holloway and Airbus.
