A LITTER of unusual puppies that drew lots of attention from prospective adopters was taken in this month by Dogs Trust Harefield.
Already, they have all been adopted into new homes.
The four eight-week-old crossbreed puppies came into the charity’s care as an unplanned litter. Their mother was a small Lurcher cross, but the breed of the father is not known.
The dogs were named Rhysand, Cassian, Azriel and Feyre after characters in the popular fantasy novel series, A Court of Thorns and Roses.
Two of the pups, Cassian and Azriel, have a medical condition that has caused partial hair loss.
They were assessed by the Dogs Trust veterinary team, who could not confirm what caused the hair loss and whether it will grow back.
Their new owners have been advised how to best care for them and their condition.
Richard Moore, centre manager, said: “We’re pleased all four have now found their forever homes.
“They loved meeting new people and making friends with other dogs at the centre, and we are thrilled to have received so many adoption applications.”
