THE Cat and Fiddle pub in Rowan Road, West Drayton, has a new tenant.

The Wellington Pub Company have been seeking someone with long-term plans to reopen it and unlock its potential.

The Cat and Fiddle has now  been taken over by Newline Pub Company, a small firm with a reputation for investing in its pubs and making them community focussed.

While it is essentially a drinkers’ pub, The Cat could offer limited food options after a refurbishment of the interior.

David Wilson, associate director at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, said: “This is another example of the demand for leasehold pubs within Greater London.”
