UXBRIDGE actor Jon-Paul Gates is looking forward to the general release of his latest film, Escape, on September 30.
It is an action movie with a strong thread of female empowerment. He plays an Albanian gang member.
Gates says it’s akin to the 'Taken' film series, but, instead of Liam Neeson getting the better of the Albanian mafia, girls form a bond to defeat them.
Escape was released by Paramount in the US earlier this year.
Born in Greenford, the actor grew up in Yorkshire but has lived in Uxbridge for 20 years.
