A STEM-focused school and sixth form, based in Northwood, will open its doors to prospective students on Thursday, October 10, 5-7pm.

UTC Heathrow specialises in Digital and Engineering, alongside the usual curriculum, and works closely with employers to give pupils industry skills and knowledge.

The school runs a Digital Futures Programme, which gives students the skills needed for careers in the booming digital infrastructure industry.

UTC Heathrow takes students aged 14-18.

Visitors will be able to explore the IT suites, classrooms and engineering floor, as well as hearing from students, staff and employer partners.

UTCs are set up in partnership with local employers, who input into the curriculum to ensure students leave school work-ready.
