RESIDENTS, businesses and community groups are being invited to share their views on a review of Hillingdon Council’s Strategic Climate Action Plan.
It sets out the actions it intends to take from 2025-2028 and reaffirms the borough’s ambition to have net-zero carbon operations by 2030.
Alongside that, Hillingdon is setting out to enhance biodiversity, improve waste management and avoid the risk of flooding.
A public consultation runs from today (11) until January 12.
Among action proposed in the plan is closer working with schools on initiatives they can take to lower their own carbon footprint.
Cllr Eddie Lavery, Cabinet Member for Community and Environment, said: “We’re making great strides in reducing carbon footprint and will build on this progress in collaboration with residents and partners.
“We need everyone to share their views and together we can create a greener future.”
Feedback will be taken into consideration when preparing the final document.
