THE Drowsy Chaperone, a musical comedy, is being performed by the Pastiche musical theatre company at the Compass Theatre, Ickenham, next month.
The production is parody of 1920s American musical comedy. As a middle-aged theatre fan plays a record, The Drowsy Chaperone, the show comes to life on stage as the fan comments wittily on the music and story line.
The show is being staged from March 4-7, with curtain up at 7.30pm and a matinee on the Saturday at 2.30.
Tickets are £13, £11 concessions and can be booked online at: www.compasstheatre.co.uk or call 01895 673200 during working hours.
A donation will be made to Prostrate Cancer UK.
