ERIC CLAPTON tribute band Classic Clapton will be returning to Ruislip as part of the band’s 30th anniversary tour on Friday, March 13.
The Geordie group formed in 1985 and have previously performed at Ruislip in 2011 and 2013.
However, front man Mike Hall, a Clapton lookalike, warns that their forthcoming gig could be the last here as he is considering retiring later this year.
Clapton fans can expect to be treated to hits from all periods of the star’s career, including Wonderful Tonight, Tears in Heaven, Crossroads, I Shot The Sheriff, Cocaine, Lay Down Sally and Layla.
The gig will take place at The Tropic at Ruislip Social Club, Grosvenor Vale. Doors open at 8.30pm and tickets are £10 in advance or £12 on the door, available from the ticket line, 020 8707 2256, or the website: www.tropicatruislip.co.uk
