London United cruised through their second EBL Division 1 game at home to Nottingham Knights on Saturday at Osterley.
United started the game for the first time this season at full strength, with Jagodka returning from injury and Quashie coming back after his wife had a baby girl.
Immediately Machynia and Deppisch hit successive threes and by the 7th minute of the 1st quarter United stretched out a 20 point lead. Deppisch nailed three, three pointers with Ataha hitting another two. united lead 34-14 by the end of the 1st quarter.
The game was effectively over and it was then a case of United coaches running the whole 12 players with equal court time. That in itself was enough to tire out the 8 players from Nottingham who lacked height and muscle.
By half time United were up 58-34.
The second was much the same with all but Klocek getting themselves on the score sheet. the only bright spark for Nottingham was Bud Johnson who hit some very deep three's until he left the gym after referee Letizia awarded 2 technical fouls against him for arguing a call.
United ran out 56 point victors at 117-61.
United scorers: Ataha 21, Deppisch 17, Jagodka 16, Mumuni 14, Machynia 11, Quashie 9, Van Elswyk 8, Knetchel 5, Reid 5, Long 4, Smith 3 and Klocek 0.
United play Worthing Thunder in the BBL Trophy on Friday at Osterley tip off at 8pm, and then in the League on Saturday against London Capitals away.
